Seeds of Discovery Book Review

Author: Breeana Puttroff runs a small buisness, writes, and is a teacher in Colorado. She has written a total of 8 books. Seven of which are in the Dusk Gate Chronicles. She loves writing and has been writing since she was a small child.

Summary: Quinn Robbins is a 16 year old girl from Bristlecone, Colorado. Quinn never really noticed William Rose, a senior at her high school. After all, every time she saw him he was reading very large medical books. Not the norm for a 17 year old guy. One day as she was driving home from picking her sister up, she accidentally hit him with her car. That got her attention. He was fine and quickly disappeared into the woods. She began watching him. She noticed that every Friday evening he went into the woods by the river and didn't return. Quinn had to know what was going on! As she was following him one Friday, she accidentally stumbles (or falls) upon on a huge secret. Turns out William Rose is much more interesting and has many secrets than the normal world knows about...

Review: Seeds of Discovery is the first of 6 books in a series (not including a novella in between books 4 and 5. ) As the book goes on, I couldn't put it down! I was sucked into it! Seeds of Discovery is around 400 pages long. This book has elements of mystery, romance, adventure, and fantasy. This is not one of those happy go lucky stories where everyone leaves happy, gets along, in love, and with no problems. The characters, Quinn, William, Quinn's childhood crush, Zander, and more, have many real life problems in which we see them try to solve. Throughout the book and series, you see amazing character development. From curious teens to young adults who make huge impacting decisions. I fell in love with this series and the characters. I recommend this book for ages 12/13 and up. At the moment, Seeds of Discovery is free on Amazon for kindles. I love this book and hope you do too! -Madison
